Dreamy Art Tutorial.
To use this tutorial, you must have a basic knowledge of Photoshop and its tools. Here the pictures I used for this collage:

For this kind of art I always start on a white canvas. I started with the image of Sarah. Run a smart blur (radius 1.1) over Sarahīs picture. As always I duplicated the image and set it to soft light. The one below was desaturated and I used the diffuse glow filter to make it shiny. On some points of her face (left eye and cheeck) I used the dodge tool becaus they just were too dark. Now I started to randomly add brushes. The wings are from Linzee, sculpture and building on the left are from AvH as is the brush under the chair, flowers are from Orchidee, chair with table from Blind Rage, the letter with glasses is a stock image I turned into a brush. The images of James/Spike are set to softlight and duplicated. I had to blur some part of the wings to make his face more clear. Now we have the basic for our collage.

Next I duplicated the whole thing and set it to color burn. I wanted some more edges in some parts of the collage, like on Jameīs face and the flowers. The rest was simply erased.

I love sparkles! So I added some to the collage. Mostly theyīre from Thia, Linzee and Tippy. You canīt see it here but I used the stroke effect. One layer has a black stroke and one layer has a white sroke. Both layers are set to softlight. Parts that were too hard I simply erased with a low opacity.

Time for some color. For that I used the pretty picture above. I blured it and set it to screen. I played with brightness and contrast to make the colors a bit more visible. At the end I had 10 layers with that blured picture. I just erased the parts in each layer that I didnīt needed.

To make the colors a bit more vivid I put the zombiestock texture on top. I blured it and set it to color burn. Again I used the dodge tool were it was a little too much.

I love shiny eyes and so I duplicated Sarahīs eyes and added them to to several new layers. The first was set to color burn, opacity of 50%. The next layer was set to soft light, opacity 100%. The third layer is set to overlay, opacity 100%. Now comes a little trick I figured out myself. I use one of Tippyīs stardust brushes to add some sparkle to her eyes. I make i very small and set the new layer to soft light and duplicate it. See, her eyes are all sparkling now. The same procedure was run on Jamesī eyes.

The last step was to add the the text, flatten the image and duplicate it. The copy was desaturated and set to color burn. Just erase the parts that look to "burned". And thatīs it.
