Fantasy Tutorial.

To use this tutorial, you must have a basic knowledge of Photoshop and its tools. For the resources and a full size view used please visit my DA account.

This is the basic we start with. The background was desaturated and I added the tree, branches, moon and birds with brushes. Remember there is water so you have reflections of everything you add!

Now I added the girl, there are 3 layers, 2 are set to softlight. To get the pale look I used the dodge tool on the first image, which is set to normal. To maked the make up around her eyes darker I used the burn tool.

Add a new layer behind the girl, start adding the hair with different shades of grey, the brush is from www.renderosity.com. Duplicate the hair layer and set it to overlay.

Now a new layer in before the girl. Add hair with different shades of grey, add a few darker strands to stand out more. Duplicated the hair layer again and set it to overlay.

Next I added a new layer above the hair layer and started to add the floral stuff around her face and in her hair. Did some airbrushing on the face to make it even look paler.

Added the plumeria with a brush and some glitter around the hair and the stuff on her eyebrows.

New layer above them all. Filled with a green/blue and some more blue for the sky and jewelery. Set it to softlight and duplicate it.

This is what we got so far. Not that bad, huh?

Played a little with her eyes, all in all 4 layers set to overlay. I donīt remember where I got this brush from, so hereīs a image:

To make her eyes blue I added a new layer on top and brushed the color #10316D over the pupils, set to overlay.

Almost done, just flatten the whole manip, duplicate it and set it to softlight. See? Wasnīt that difficult. :D Now itīs your turn. Would love to see what you create with it.
