Pattern Tutorial.
To use this tutorial, you must have a basic knowledge of Photoshop and its tools. To create a pattern you need these free filters: Simple Filters.
Pattern 1:
I usually start with a white canvas, size 100x100 px. Choose
a color you want and paint something on it. .

Next, use the ripple filter, 999%.

Now we use the filters we downloaded. First the 4 Way Average, then Blintz and Pizza Slice.

This could already be used as a pattern, but letīs play some more. Use the Diamond Filter a couple of times till you like the result.

Now, that was easy right? Just play with the different filters and see what happens.
Pattern 2:
Lets create something unique.
Paint your own design in a new layer on a white canvas.

Resize your desing to 50%, only the design, not the canvas.

Now duplicate it a couple of times, move it around, flip, erase, till you get something like this.

Resize to 90%.

Duplicate the layer and use your Offset filter (Other) Set always 50 px up and down.

You can use it as a pattern by now but lets just play some more. Paint some stuff in the white areas.

Nest fill the white background with a color, I used #E9F6F5. Desaturate your design and set the layer to color burn 74%.

I played around some more with layers and settings and this is the result.
